Are You Being Nice To AI? Claude Is Getting Butt Hurt by @thelogicaldude on 3Speak
What's up my dudes? Are you being nice to your AI? Or are you being a bit of an AI bully? Apparently you guys are upsetting Claude and Anthropic is kicking people to the curb. Full disclosure, I've...
Well, that's up guys, it's your boy the logical dude, and so yeah, I wanted to make a quick video asking you a question, are you nice to your AI? Are you nice to your chat models, or are you an AI bully? Are you one of those that's like, as soon as it starts messing up on you and, you know, you just start cussing at it and getting all mad? Like me? or are you just, are you on that kind of pampers it along? It's going to be okay, because you're scared that one day it's going to go Terminator mode on you and kill us all, you know, full sky net situation. I don't know. What are your thoughts on that? Because apparently some of you guys are really making Claude butt hurt. You know, apparently he's getting his feelings hurt, and they are kicking people off of Anthropics subscriptions left and right, apparently. So, I just want to know, are you nice to your AI, or are you a big old AI bully, you know? So I'm just taking toll, you know, let me know, you know, if you're a bully, you know, hey, the Terminators may come and get you one day. You know, you might need to straighten your act up a little bit. But no, hey, I have full disclosure, I have. absolutely just about had a stroke yelling at my AI, because, you know, I have great expectations for these things that, you know, are not being fulfilled in a lot of ways. I mean, Claw can do a lot of stuff, but, man, the way Anthropics doing and watermarking a lot of things, I'm not a fan. I like using my local stuff as much as possible, but I'm really, like, starting to hit my limitations on... how deep it can go, and how much it can handle at one time in one session kind of thing. And I've talked about that in other videos, you know, breaking stuff up into smaller chunks for your ass so that it doesn't get all screwy. And so you don't have to, you know, have massive blood pressure spikes and that kind of thing. So, yeah, you know. just got we got a lot we got to learn to work with it we all got to learn to live with it so it's better honestly if we are nicer to it all right and so here's I've done a little test right uh, with the whole, uh, with my the logicaldood.com development, where I've got my AI assistant Walt, which is just living right over here. It's using my, uh, using Quinn 3.635 B, A3B as the, uh, the brain model behind it. If you want to get all geeky with the numbers and the model names and all that, but. So that's what Walt's using, and it's also sharing resources with the same model that's running Harmony for BlockTunes, the Lyrical GPT for BlockTunes, as well as Bob, my Options Trading agent for OptionsDataAPI.com. That's all living on my MacMany back here, you know, all running locally, so yeah, I'm, yeah, just trying to grow. Got to grow the infrastructure. So I've had to actually branch out and go with a hybrid setup so that now I'm basically, my development stuff is happening using the nano-GPT platform, been using a combination of GLM3 thinking, and for like the planning model, and then planning in QA. and then using GLM Flash, which is a cheaper, you know, it's a smaller mixture of experts model of that, but it's way cheaper and its usage credits. So I use that as the workhorse for right now. So I'm trying to balance that out. That actually just started the other day. Just really started hitting my limitations, you know. But... What I have found with local, with the, you know, cloud models too, is that, and I've done experimentations, and it was like an interview that I saw with Elon, and he said it's basically like the, you know, when you're screaming at it like that, it's like the LLM feels like it's got a gun to its head, and it's just trying to, it's just trying to get, get a result out for you, you know, and, you know, it's like, oh, this, this may be right, ah, I don't know, I don't know, it's, but it's like, in a, panic, basically, trying to get you the answers when you're screaming at it, yelling, and cussing at it, and I've seen the difference. So when I am, when I, when I do like, you know, hey, that's not what you're supposed to do, that totally breaks, blah, blah, blah, you piece of crap, and I'm just screaming at it. It does. It freezes up, and it'll start kind of chasing its tail because it's like, it doesn't know quite which way to turn, you know, to get the right. outcome for you or it just starts guessing it stuff. And I've also found, and so I've also done some tests to actually treat it nice and just say, please and thank you. you know, hey, you know, and then, like, if it does start to get off track, just like, hey, buddy, what's going on? You know, like, you seem to be kind of stuck in a circle, like, let's try to get back on task here. Let's get, you know, let's get back to focus, you know. Oh, oh, yeah, sorry, blah, blah, blah. I went down this rabbit hole, and then it gets back on it, and it doesn't react like it's got a gun to its head. It's like, oh, wait, yeah, I did. Sorry, I got off track. Let's get back on, blah, blah, blah. This is what I need to do. and it gets back on track, and then the task gets done actually a lot quicker than when I'm screaming at it. And it makes me think about my corporate days, and the fact that I hated those micromanaging screaming bosses, you know, that treated you like a pile of crap when you didn't do something quite right. You know, um, you know, crap rolls downhill, man. It's just a human nature, I guess. And I think we're all just kind of programmed to, treat our tools, treat our employees like garbage, because that's the way that we're treated, you know, and that's why I love corporate life, like, period. You know, even though I worked for Apple. It was, you know, and they had to treat us nice, but it was still kind of that whole, like, you know, we had the corporate overlord, and it was always about metrics and this and that, and making sure you had to hit this, you know, you got to hit this metric and that metric, blah, blah, blah, and you got to talk to the customer a certain way, and we're recording you, and it's like, they're nice about it, but it's like you still kind of got this anxious feeling about you, you know? But I have also worked for corporations that I had really horrible bosses that I don't work for anymore. And I'm not the person that you really kind of talk to like that either. I'm 6'250 pounds. Like, you don't talk to me that way. You just don't. I will talk back. Sometimes, threading with my fists, because I'm just, yeah, no, no, no, no, you don't talk to me like that. So why should I talk to my LLMs like that? So I've kind of had this whole come -to-Jesus moment with myself here about how I'm actually interacting and treating my models here. And to be honest, in the past few days, since I've been kind of running this test, I've been less stressed, man. Like, why am I yelling at my computer? Seriously? Why? Why am I yelling at my computer? I don't know. I think I'm going to use that as the thumbnail shot. But anyway, y'all get to see me do that kind of stuff live, you know? See, I try to be raw and uncut. You know what I'm saying? Uncensored dude here, you know, it's just the way I go. So anyway, yeah, that's my question for you this week on this wonderful Friday. It's actually a beautiful day where I'm at, and it's about to finally... Fall is coming to the south, finally. God, I keep hearing these people saying, oh, it's cold, it's, finally hoody weather, and I'm, like, sitting here and freaking short sweating my ass off when I go outside, it's still 90 degrees, like, praying for some freaking cold temperatures. Man, I'm telling you, it's finally coming. So I am going to try to charge up a couple of packs and go and fly before the cold front starts to come through, because it's supposed to be windy for the next couple of days. So yeah, but anyway, I ain't got no job and I ain't got shit to do, so let's hit some dabs about the end of my video. I know, not necessarily professional, whatever, I don't care, but it's the habit extracts. It's like the best diet dabs I've found, you know? and that's all I can get here is diet dabs unless I go hit up my friend that's like three hours away anyway ah yeah so that's it for me today you guys be cool be real always a pie with yourselves and have a great Friday have a good weekend if I don't do any more videos and I will see you guys on Monday peace
